Birthday Cacao Ceremony

As part of my 50th Birthday celebrations. I organised a spiritual retreat for a day and invited key friends from my soul family. 

I was blessed to have a Cacao Ceremony to start the days events off.

Provided by Kim Fruen of Alter-native Therapies my guests and I sat in a yurt that was slowly being filled with the aromas of deeply delicious bitter chocolate. 

Mugs of ceremonial Cacao were passed round for all to experience. Nothing like your normal hot chocolate, dark in colour and bitter to taste but not unpleasant to taste. It had a comforting taste that felt like a cosy childhood all at once. 

Kim guided us through a meditation to connect to the ixcacao diva bringing an unexpected flutter to the heart. Gentle music played in the background as we all relaxed and journeyed wherever the diva would take us - on a journey of heart opening self love. 

Hands on Healing was given to each individual which enhanced everyone’s journey further. 

My personal journey took me from dancing snails, to DNA spirals to eagles flying in dance around each other. On to plants swaying in dance on the breeze and trees waving to the dance. Finally out to space where the planets danced around each other and the galaxies danced on too. Back down and down into my body where I realised every cell danced too. Every molecule of the universe was dancing - dancing the dance of the universe. 

My birthday celebrations continued with other spiritual offerings all amazing in their own way. But the ixcacao diva stayed with me all day - each time I experienced a high from the days events my heart fluttered with gratitude and love for the day I was spending in a glorious soul group of like minded beings, all enjoying the dance of the universe. The start to a blessed day.
