A three-night retreat in Martham and Winterton on Sea, Norfolk. 8th October 2026 - 11th October 2026

Join us for a Tai Chi and Energy Medicine based retreat. Each year we have a focus on an aspect of Tai Chi, from whole form, to Compact Style, Hao Style, Fan Tai Chi and Tai Chi Bang, last year even included Glow Stick in the Dark Tai Chi. Every retreat welcomes complete novices, new starters, returning practitioners and those with more experience. There is something for everyone. 

This year's retreat is all about moving forward! The 2025 Wood Snake bought us vast amounts of change, shedding old ideas, rewriting of old patterns and a clearing of ways to make space for us to step into the Year of the Fire Horse ready to move at pace. The Fire Horse asks us to step up and take advantage of of the changes made last year. Be confident and make big strides toward defined goals.

Starting on Thursday 8th October,  at Martham Village Hall where we will begin with locally made scrummy cakes, a meditation to bring in the energies of the Fire Horse and a Pub Meal in Winterton on Sea at the Fisherman's Return.

Retreat activities include Tai Chi, Meditations, Chinese Energy Practices, I-Ching, a cacao ceremony, and a Despacho ceremony.

Finishing at 1:00pm on Sunday to head to a fabulous tearoom to finish our cake tour. 

The retreat cost is £280 per person, food and accommodation are not included. We have an evening meal out or Take Away on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, lunches can be bought locally and we eat in the hall. There are various options for accommodation to fit all budgets that can be found locally. Including Hermanus Holiday Park and Winterton Valley Chalet Estate within 5 minutes of Martham Village Hall and a Premier in Within 12 minutes and various caravan sites at Sea Palling, Hemsby, California Sands and Scratby.
